McCall Group at the 64th Ohio State University International Symposium on Molecular Spectroscopy

Jacob Stewart
June 16, 2009 - 6:42 AM

Eight members of the McCall research group will be presenting talks at the International Symposium on Molecular Spectroscopy, featuring Ben's talk as winner of the 2009 Coblentz award.

The McCall research group will be well represented at the 64th International Symposium on Molecular Spectroscopy. Nine talks will be given by eight members of the group, covering astronomical observations, progress on observing molecular ions in the SCRIBES instrument, measurements of H3+, and development of a continuous-wave cavity ring-down spectrometer using a quantum cascade laser. Our group's participation in the conference will be highlighted by Ben's talk on molecular spectroscopy and astrochemistry in the plenary session on Monday, June 22 at 11:10 am. (To read Ben's abstract, click here)

Other members of the group presenting talks are Carrie Kauffman, Kyle Crabtree, Manori Perera, Andrew Mills, Nick Indriolo, Brett McGuire, and Brian Brumfield. The schedule for all McCall group talks is as follows:
